This year's fair is coming

Thursday May 20, 2027 at NHTI in Concord, NH!!

Eligibility

Who can participate in NHSEE - Middle School Fair: To participate in NHSEE - Middle School, students need to meet the following conditions:

      • Be currently attending a public or private school in NH, even if they live outside of NH.
      • Or be Home-schooled in NH.
      • And be in Grades 5 to 8.

Please note that this is a change in eligibility from last year.

PROJECT RULES

Limitations and Rules for Student Projects entered in NHSEE - Middle School Fair: 

    1.   Use of vertebrate animals in experiments is prohibited. The exception to this rule is if the only animal involvement is observational.
    2.   The use of human subjects is limited to surveys and observations. Surveys must be approved by a school staff committee of 3 independent, knowledgeable people.
    3.   Experiments that culture/grow bacteria, viruses, or germs are not allowed.
    4.   Hazardous chemicals, equipment, or procedures are not allowed. If there are questions, the project must be approved by a school staff committee of 3 independent, knowledgeable people.

Registering for the MIDDLE SCHOOL FAIR

STUDENTS:  Register your project at: STEM Wizard - Student Registration - NHSEE Middle School Fair  by Friday, April 16, 2027

TEACHERS:  Register you/your school at:  STEM Wizard - Teacher Registration - NHSEE Middle School Fair  by Friday, April 16, 2027

JUDGES:  Register to be a judge at:  STEM Wizard - Judge Registration - NHSEE Middle School Fair  by Friday May 7, 2027

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN SOON FOR TEACHERS, STUDENTS AND  JUDGES !!


DEADLINES

Registration: Friday, April 16, 2027

Project Description:  Friday, May 7, 2027

Final Forms Submitted: Friday, May 7, 2027 (by midnight)

Registration Fees:  Friday, May 7, 2027


REGISTRATION FEES

NOTE: Registration Fees are $30 per student to cover expenses. There is no discount for teams (i.e, a team of 2 is $60, and a team of 3 is $90).
These fees go to pay for student and teacher lunches, and awards.

Registration fees can be paid using PayPal in STEM Wizard.
