Announcing the first State of New Hampshire Middle School Science Fair!

Thursday, May 22, 2025 at NHTI in Concord, NH

Eligibility

Who can participate in NHSEE - Middle School Expo: To participate in NHSEE - Middle School, students need to meet the following conditions.

    1. Be a resident of NH, even if they are going to a school that is not in NH.
    2. Be attending a public or private school in NH, even if they live outside of NH.
    3.  Home-schooled in NH.
In addition, the student(s) must:
    1. Be in Grades 5 to 8.

PROJECT RULES

Limitations and Rules for Student Projects entered in NHSEE - Middle School Fair

    1.   Use of vertebrate animals in experiments, is prohibited. The exception to this rule is if the only animal involvement is observational.
    2.   The use of human subjects is limited to surveys and observations. Surveys must be approved by a school staff committee of 3 independent,      knowledgeable people.
    3.   Experiments that culture/grow bacteria, viruses, or germs are not allowed.
    4.   Hazardous chemicals, equipment, or procedures are not allowed. If there are questions, the project must be approved by a school staff committee of 3 independent, knowledgeable people.

Registering for the MIDDLE SCHOOL FAIR

STUDENTS:  Register your project at: STEM Wizard - Student Registration - NHSEE Middle School Fair

TEACHERS:  Register you/your school at:  STEM Wizard - Teacher Registration - NHSEE Middle School Fair

JUDGES:  Register to be a judge at:  STEM Wizard - Judge Registration - NHSEE Middle School Fair

Registration: April 15, 2025

Final Forms Submitted: April 27, 2025
